2019 Publix Atlanta Kids Marathon (March 16th) – The Publix Atlanta Kids Marathon will show kids what it means to be part of a big city marathon. Held at the same location where the 2020 Olympic Team Trials – Marathon will take place, this race gives kids ages 14 & under the chance to get active as they finish under the Publix Atlanta Marathon finish line. Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade (March 23rd) – Participation in the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade is not just an ‘Irish Thing’ but a way to celebrate the Irish with thousands of dancers, musicians, balloons, floats, local & Irish dignitaries, the Clydesdales and the world’s largest Irish Walking flag. There is also the annual 5k for those who want to test their physical endurance on this green day. The parade is truly a gem special to Atlanta.
