The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Breaks Ground at Historic Fourth Ward Park

Residents of 1065 Midtown should mark their calendar for the end of May. Although this year’s festival won’t be right next door to the beloved Piedmont Park, the luxury of Midtown is that nothing is too far away, including History Fourth Ward Park.

“The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is designed to shine an international spotlight on the rich food and beverage traditions of the southern U.S. from Texas to D.C.” – The AF&WF

Enjoy a weekend frolicking through the cornucopia of local restaurants and wine stewards that make Atlanta the culinary beacon of the southeast. Early bird tickets have already gone on sale, but the AF&WF has also designed a host of other packages to accommodate your specific tastes and interests. Some ticket packages include full weekend, no-bars-held connoisseur passes designed for the serious foodie, or simply the dinner series suits you, or perhaps you would like Peter Michael hosted multi-course dinner with the Stars Atlanta package. The AF&WF has designed bundles for every cut of food connoisseur.

“A daily, rotating list of 35 chefs, over 25 food companies, 80 spirits brands, 70 wine producers, and 60 plus breweries are included this year. A day at the tents is basically three hours of non-stop overindulging, rain or shine.” – Eater Atlanta

Patrons who look forward to the festival’s yearly cooking classes and other learning experiences should stay posted for location updates. It is currently unclear whether Loews Atlanta hotel will be the ongoing host for classes or will be relocated in closer proximity to the tents.

So come out and have a game plan if you propose to even dent a fraction of the vendors. This is truly a culinary treat that any real self-proclaimed foodie cannot pass up.
